Purpose
This article outlines the steps for deactivating a product from a store in ImpulsePoint.
Process
If products are no longer being sold or are underperforming, they can be removed from the Store in ImpulsePoint.
Before deactivating a Store Product please ensure that all associated inventory has been sold. Neglecting this step may result in ImpulsePoint writing off any existing inventory when deactivating the Store Product.
If a property moves items to inactive and they still have inventory associated, the items will not be removed from their reports. The only way to remove items that had inventory is by performing a full inventory reset.
- Log into ImpulsePoint.
- Click on the Manage icon, found on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Navigate to the Manage Products section.
- Select the View All Products link.
- Locate the specific Store Product to deactivate.
- Click on the Edit Product (pen) icon on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Modify the product's status from Active to Inactive in the dropdown that appears.
- Click on the red Close button to save changes.
