ADM - Enhanced GMA Rewards - Operator Guide

Purpose

This article serves as an Operator Guide for Enhanced GMA Rewards - an advanced loyalty program that offers users rewards based on their purchase history.

Process

This guide provides a step-by-step process to set up the rewards program.

Step 1: Accessing the Rewards Program

  1. Login to ADM

  2. Click on the Admin tab.

  3. Ensure the Rewards Program is enabled under permissions.

  4. Click on Rewards Program to be redirected to the program management screen.

Step 2: Creating a New Reward Programs

  1. Click on the Create button.

  2. A three-step Rewards Program Creation form will appear.

  • Step 1: Info Screen

    • Enter a unique Reward Program Name.

    • Click Next to proceed.


  • Step 2: Status Screen

    • Define Status Tiers (e.g., Member, Tier 2, Tier 3, etc.).

    • Assign Point Levels for each tier.

    • Click Next to save and proceed.


  • Step 3: Reward Products

    • Assign Point Values to products.

    • Add products to different tiers.

    • Ensure each tier has at least one product.

    • Click Save to complete the setup.

Step 3: Managing an Existing Reward Program

  1. Locate the created reward program in the Rewards Program List.

  2. Click on the program name to access the Manage Reward Program screen.

Options under Manage Reward Program

  • Edit the Program Name.

  • Modify Status Tiers and Points.

  • Add, Remove, or Update Products.

  • Upload Images for products (via Browse or Drag-and-Drop).

  • Click Save after making changes.

Step 4: Linking a Reward Program to a Location

  1. Go to the Location Summary Page.

  2. Under Info Section, find the Reward Program Dropdown.

  3. Select the relevant Reward Program.

  4. Ensure that GMA Loyalty is disabled, as both cannot be active simultaneously.

  5. Click Save to finalize the linkage.

  6. Perform a Full Sync to update the devices.

Step 5: Validating Reward Programs

  • A reward program is invalid if:

    • It is missing required fields.

    • Products are not added.

  • Users attempting to select an invalid reward program will receive an error message.

  • Always ensure all required data is filled before saving.

Step 6: Handling Reward Product Images

  • Image uploads must meet the required aspect ratio.

  • Images can be uploaded via file selection or drag-and-drop.

  • If an incorrect size is used, an error message will be displayed.

  • Users should prepare images in the correct dimensions before uploading.

Step 7: Additional Features & Considerations

  • Reward programs can be edited but not made invalid after creation.

  • Users cannot redeem points if they do not meet the minimum product threshold.

  • Future updates may introduce a status feature to indicate draft vs. completed rewards.

  • Users must save changes at each step, as some actions (like image uploads) are immediate and irreversible.
