365 Catering (Spoonfed) - Customer Module - Customer Notes and Invoice Notes

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline the locations of the notes sections in the updated Spoonfed Customer Module setups.

 

Process

Each Customer Module Setup has spaces to add Notes. These Notes can help track important information about an Organization or Contact. The sections are set as Notes and Invoice Notes.

Notes

The Notes field will act as a pop-up reminder for staff when an Order is added in the Back Office. These notes can help with important reminders for dietary restrictions or other information.
Example: 'Always include vegetarian options'.

Please note: The Customer cannot see these notes, so it will only be useful to staff in the Back Office.
 

Invoice Notes

Can include important information about Invoicing and Payment Details. For example, you might include the invoice address or details about how a Customer prefers to be Invoiced.
Example: 'Always send a copy of the Invoice to hq@abclawyers.com'.

Adding Notes can assist in following important Customer Details and keep every Customer happy with personalized service. 

Remember to update the notes sections with up to date information as changes occur, especially if payment or Invoicing details change.
 

Hierarchy

For Hierarchy setup both of these fields will be at the Organization level.

The Notes sections will be located under the Organization Details page which can be navigated to by clicking the name of the Organization from the Customer Module. 

In the Organization Details page the Settings tab will house both of the fields.
 

Hybrid and No Hierarchy

For the Hybrid and No Hierarchy setups the Notes sections will be located at the Contact level.

The Notes sections will be located under the Contact Details page which can be navigated to by clicking the name of the Contact from the Customer Module. 

In the Contact Details page the Settings tab will house both of the fields.
