Purpose
The purpose of this article is to show how to export Order Charges sheet(s) for reporting purposes in the Back Office.
An export of all Order charges is particularly helpful for Food Service Management caterers who need to send an Order summary to head office or to a client.
Process
Downloading Order Reports
To export the Order details including PO Numbers/Cost Codes/Cost Centers from the system, follow these steps:
- Click on the Order module from the main menu.
- In the search area, set the desired Date Range, and apply any other filters relevant to the information.
(For example, the Customer filter can be used to include only that Customer's Orders).- Click Filter to expand and see available filter options.
- Click Filter to expand and see available filter options.
- Refine the search until only the desired Orders show in the list. For more information on filtering options, please see: Search for an Order.
- On the right side of the screen, click the Download dropdown > select Export, Export Summary, Export BEO Report, or Export Internal BEO Report.
(BEO Report options will only apply if BEO Reports have been enabled for the account.)- The Export/Export Summary options will download the spreadsheet displaying all Order information.
'Export' creates three tabs including 'Detail' and 'POS', which display Menu and Item information.
'Export Summary' contains one tab summarizing the orders.
- The 'BEO Report' and 'Internal BEO Report' options will generate a BEO Report or Internal BEO Report accordingly.
- The Export/Export Summary options will download the spreadsheet displaying all Order information.
Please Note that in many accounts, the 'PO Number' column in the export file will refer to the Cost Code/Cost Center or equivalent.
