Note: When changing Payment Gateways, it is always advisable to speak to a Spoonfed Customer Success representative first about the implications for your Account. Switching Gateways deletes all current Customer Credit Cards on file!
Spoonfed integrates with Authorize.net as a Payment Gateway to collect credit and debit cards. In order to integrate Authorize.net, you follow these steps:
-
Contact your Authorize.net representative to setup your Merchant Interface (skip this step if you already have access).
-
Follow Authorize.net instructions to issue an API ID and API Transaction Key:
-
Establish Spoonfed's URLs by following Spoonfed's step-by-step guide. This provides one-side of the secure pathway from Authorize.net to Spoonfed. If you have not yet been provided with our current guide, please ask your Spoonfed Implementation Expert.
-
Send your Enhanced Security Key (long alpha-numeric string), Store ID, and your Terminal ID to your Spoonfed Implementation Expert OR go to: Setup > Organization > Payments to add the information directly to your Account.
-
Once all of these pieces are in place, you can run a test Order and test credit card transaction!
That is how to set up Authorize.net on your Spoonfed Account to take Card Orders!
