Why a Branch / Location Can't be Changed in a Confirmed Order

Purpose

When trying to edit an Order by changing the Branch/Location, and finding that the changes won't Save, the most likely cause is that Menu Items are selected which are only available for that specific Location. 
If Menus in an Order are set to only be available for certain Locations, the Menu Selection needs to be changed in order to change the Location.

Process

To switch the Branch/Location on an Order:

  1. Go to the Items tab.

  2. Click the Red X button near the Menu(s) which are only available for that location.

  3. Click Delete Menu on the resulting popup.

  4. Click Save, then Confirm Changes. Skip sending an email to the Customer. 
     
  5. With the conflicting Menu Item(s) deleted, the Branch can now be changed.
