Go to Setup > Features > Unit of Measure.

Check 'Enable Unit of Measure'.

Fill out how you'd like to quantify Menu Items.

Check 'Include Units of Measure for Items in Menu Setup' to also include the option to add portion sizes to individual Menu Items.

Click Save.
