Purpose
This article explains how to add an internal note to an order that cannot be seen by the customer.
Process
An Internal Note is a note added to an order for Back Office users. Internal Notes are not visible to customers.
For instructions on adding a customer-facing note that appears in confirmation emails, refer to the article Add a Customer Note.
- From the Main Menu, click Order Module.
- Add a new order or search for an existing order.
- Click the Time Slots tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Locate the Internal Note field.
- Enter the note for Back Office users.
- Click Save Slot.
Once the note is added, any order will be set to an unconfirmed status and will need to be confirmed again. An option to send an email to the customer when the order is confirmed again will appear. For internal notes, sending an additional email can be skipped.
