Purpose
This article outlines the steps for resolving the issue for not being able to see menu items inside of a 365 Catering (Spoonfed) menu.
Process
If you've created a Menu but notice that the items don't show up on the Online Ordering Site, it might be that you haven't actually added Items. When creating a Menu, there are two essential components to successfully display and order it, the Section and the Item. If you've made a Menu but it looks blank on the Online Ordering Site, you may have added a Section, but left out the Items!
Section
A Section is the first part of a Menu to make. Sections categorize Items or groups of Items. They can contain one Item to be automatically included in the Menu. They can also contain multiple Items to create choices for the Customer to select from. A Section without an Item is incomplete as it contains no data to send to the kitchen.
Item
An Item must be added to a Section to make the Menu valid to order. Items are the data of a Menu that gets sent to the kitchen to fulfil.
An incomplete Menu with no Sections or Items will look blank. An incomplete Menu cannot be added to any Order.
A menu with no items is also considered incomplete. This type of incomplete Menu cannot be added to an Order either, as it's missing items. Add Items to the Menu to add it to an Order.
Add Items to the Menu to fix it. When Items are included, the Menu will show up as complete on the online ordering site.
A complete menu will also show sections and items in the back office.
