Apply a Cancellation Charge to a Cancelled Order
Updated

Introduction

If a Customer cancelled an Order last minute and you need to charge them a cancellation fee, you can still do that while still issuing a partial refund. This can be done whether the Customer cancelled the Order or you did it in the Back Office.

Note: Once cancelled, an Order cannot be un-cancelled. 'Repeat' the order to recover the order details and create it as a new order

When Order is Cancelled in Back Office

  1. When in the Order Details Page, click Cancel Order.

  2. Apply the Cancellation Fee in a dollar amount.

  3. Choose whether or not to apply tax to the cancellation fee.

  4. If the Customer already paid for their Order, they will be refunded their amount, minus this Cancellation Fee that's applied.

  5. Click Confirm.
