Updated

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to explain the function of Internal Authorizations/Authorizers in the Authorization Dashboard for Spoonfed Customer Module. Please note: This feature must be enabled by a Customer Success Specialist.

Process

To learn about how to create an Internal Authorization group, please reference the article 365 Catering (Spoonfed) - Authorizer - How to Set Up Authorization Groups.

Managing New Orders

When a customer places order for approval, they will come through to the Back Office with the status "Pending".

Clicking into the order, there will be options to "Approve" or "Reject".

  • Approve: Approving the order will notify the customer and change the status to "Confirmed"

  • Reject: Rejecting the order will notify the customer and change the status to "Rejected". You will have the option to leave a note to inform the customer as to the reason. Please note: Rejecting an order cannot be undone. A Rejected order must be remade if needed.

Managing Customer Edited Orders

If the account is set up to allow for customers to edit "Approved" orders, the status will return to "Pending" if changes are made. Follow the same process above to either "Approve" or "Reject" the order.
