365 Dining - Grouped QR Scan - Operator Guide

Purpose

This article outlines the Grouped QR Scan dining feature for Operators.

Process

A consumer will take a QR code of their choice of item with modifications to a 365 Dining kiosk to complete the order and pay.

The feature will need to be enabled in ADM before being able to be used. This feature is not turned on per location but rather per device.

Request This Feature

This feature is not turned on by default. Please contact 365Support via live chat, at (888) 365-6282 or support@365smartshop.com to have this feature enabled.

How Does It Work?

When the consumer is at a dining device they will be able to scan a QR code to add pre-determined products to their cart. When the QR code is scanned on the dining device, the list of products will be added to the cart via scancode.

If a scancode does not match any products in the location's Global Product List, the product will be skipped and the next scan code will be checked.

The first scancode will be treated as the first product added to the cart, the second scancode will be treated as the second product added to the cart, etc.

There will be between 1 and 13 scancodes on a single QR code. This is determined by the Organization.

Feature Disabled in ADM

With the feature is disabled: when the consumer scans a QR code at a dining device, nothing will be added to the cart.
