Parlevel - Koin Account Deletion Request

Purpose

This article will provide the steps on how a customer can request the deletion their Koin account.

Process

Submitting the Request through the Operator

Users can submit an account deletion request through their local Operator/Organization. If they have a balance on their account, users can request a refund with their local operator through cash, check, or other refund option the Organization offers (Venmo, Cash App, Paypal, etc).

Submitting the Request through the App

  1. While logged into the Koin app click the Koin logo in the upper leftt hand corner.

  2. Click Account.

  3. Click Delete Account at the bottom. This sends a request to the Operator to process.

How to Delete Accounts in VMS

Individual Accounts

  1. Go to the Organization’s VMS.
  2. Go to Settings -> Micro Markets -> User Accounts.
  3. Search for the accounts user’s name or email.
  4. Click the trash can on the right side to delete account.

Bulk Accounts

  1. Go to the Organization’s VMS.
  2. Go to Settings -> Micro Markets -> User Accounts.
  3. Search for the accounts by different criteria (i.e. location, home MicroMarket, etc).
  4. Select the desired accounts using the check box on the left hand side. 
  5. Click Options -> Bulk Delete.

What if there is a Balance?

If the user still has a balance on their account when they request a deletion they can either spend the balance at their local market (before deletion) or request a balance refund from the Operator/Organization.
