PicoPlatform - PicoCooler Breeze to PicoCooler Conversion Guide
Updated

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline the conversion process for a PicoCooler Breeze to a PicoCooler setup. Please note: this process may remove both IGD Scanners and Speaker components. If these components are to be saved, please disconnect and handle them appropriately.

Process

  1. Disconnect the Power cable from the back of the cooler. Remember to reconnect the power once done.

  2. Remove the Speakers. The speakers are connected to the CDU located on top of the Cooler. A ladder/stoll may be required to easily access the Cooler top depending on orientation. The speakers are connected by a USB and an Audio Cable (plugged into a green port on the back of the CDU). Disconnect both cables.

  3. Disconnect the IGD Scanner. Disconnect the micro-usb cable connected under the first shelf. Please note: Older style scanners may have the connection screwed in to the underside of the shelf. Should unscrewing the scanner jostle or shift the shelves, please level the cooler after removal.

  4. After the Evermart/IGD Scanner device has been removed, the 365 Implementation team will change the device type in ADM. This process may take a few minutes.

  5. Once the device type has been changed, the Pico Device will need to be reprovisioned. The Implementation team will assist with re-provisioning as needed.

  6. Once re-provisioning is complete, the device will be configured as a standard PicoCooler.
