Purpose
The purpose of this article is to outline new changes to VMS and Parlevel App UI design. These changes will allow Operators to schedule individual assets to be audited by themselves (and not the entire market). This will allow drivers to visualize the planogram inside the markets with a more engaging and flexible design.
Overview
VMS
In the Route planning screen, the audit check-mark box has been replaced with a drop-down selector. The multi-selecting drop down box will include all of the assets within the market, as well as an “all” option. The user can then check or uncheck any selection in that drop down, to trigger an audit for a specific asset or all assets.
In the company settings, you can enable “Show Market Inventory by Product Family”
The multi-selecting drop down box will then include all of the product families that are available within the market, as well as an “all” option, instead of assets. The user can then check or uncheck any selection in that drop down, to trigger an audit for a specific product family or all of the products.
UI Changes in Stock App - Asset UI Features
The first screen on the Stock App lists all assets assigned to a market.
Select one to access the planogram. In the planogram view you will see all the products arranged by rows. You can scroll left to right on a row to see more products on a row or up and down to see more rows.
Each selection displays product image, name, alias, current inventory, and parlevel. If you have multiple selections with the same product, they are automatically paired. Paired selections will display a P (Parent) or C (Child). Inventory for a product is only maintained in the Parent selection.
You can change the inventory from the planogram view by tapping the inventory number. It expands to allow you to tap or hold down a plus or minus to increase or decrease the inventory value.
You can access more information by tapping on a selection, including entering expired, damaged, refunded, lost, and adds to give reasons to the inventory change. Once you are done making changes to an asset, you can save the changes for the specific asset you are viewing.
UI Changes in Stock App - Asset Audit UI
When an audit is scheduled you will be greeted by a popup warning and bar at the top of the screen.
Only the assets that have been scheduled to be audited will be displayed on the asset screen.
In the planogram view of each asset the inventory value will be set to zero. You are expected to count each product. When saving the audit a warning will appear listing the number of selections that have not been counted in the asset you are viewing. If you save without applying an inventory value, the selection inventory will be saved as zero.
When saving at the asset view, a warning will appear listing the number of selections that have not been counted across all the assets.
UI Changes in Stock App - Product Family View
The new grid sequence has the following features:
- Rows in the UI mirror the physical machine Planogram. Location on grid will correspond with machine planogram.
- Users can now scroll up and sideways.
- Drivers are able to tab on the number of products and change quantity.
- Users can click on the product itself and edit in a more detail view.
- Rows can have a Parent selection (if row in planogram is the same product)
- 'P' shows for Parent, 'C' for child.
- Only a Parent item will have an inventory value. (see below example)
UI Changes in Stock App - Markets by Product Families
Users are now able to manage Markets with a Product Families view. Please note: this feature must be enabled first under 'Company Settings'.
See below for an example of a view shown by 'product families'.
