Purpose
This article contains steps to add new pickup locations in ADM to Order Ahead pickup locations, as well as modifying ordering schedules, max orders, and additional order lead time.
Process
Add a Pickup Location
- Log into ADM and select the Location.
- Expand the Location Summary by clicking the blue bar labeled Click here for location information and settings (+).
- Scroll down to the Order Ahead Settings section, which defines the settings for the café pickup location. By default, the café location is named General Pickup, but is editable.
- Select the radio button Text with Image to upload a picture to associate with the pickup location, which will show on the kiosk in Order Ahead mode.
- Click the blue plus to add another pickup location.
- Once all pickup locations have been edited, scroll down and click Save.
Schedule Settings and Lead Time
Each pickup location can be managed individually, to account for cases where the pickup location takes longer to deliver or to limit the frequency with which orders are delivered.
Each location can have its own max number of orders per pickup timeslot (0-99), and each timeslot/pickup location can add additional lead time to accommodate preparation and delivery. This additional lead time simply prevents a customer from placing an order too late.
- Click Menu > Self Service.
- Scroll to the menu to manage the schedule and click Set Limits.
- Each day of the week is configured individually, and must be saved before adjusting another day to make changes.
- Set the Start Time and End Time for the menu at the top, as well as select the size of the timeslots in 5 minute increments between 5 and 30 minutes.
- For each timeslot in the pickup location, enter the Max Orders (0-99) and Additional Lead Time (in minutes).
- Once configured, click the Save button to ensure changes are not lost, and click on the next day to configure it.
