Purpose
This article describes how an operator can create an Announcement that will display on the Home page of the consumer’s mobile app. This process is done via the ADM platform.
Process
- Log into ADM.
- From the main menu, select Admin. Then, select the Consumer Engagement option from the resulting drop-down menu.
- You will now be taken to the Consumer Engagement page. Click on the Announcements section - this will expand this portion of the web page. From here, select the Create Announcement button.
- The Create Announcement page will now display. Select any location(s) for which you would like the Announcement to display.
- Select a Start Date and End Date for the Announcement, or you may select Has No End Date.
- Setting an End Date will automatically disable and remove the Announcement on the day/time specified.
- Selecting Has No End Date means the Announcement will display indefinitely until it is manually disabled.
- Setting an End Date will automatically disable and remove the Announcement on the day/time specified.
- Input a Title for the Announcement.
- Input the Body text for the Announcement.

Optionally, you may:

upload a 370px X 170px image for the Announcement tile

add a button to the Announcement tile that directs to a specified external link

Publish the Announcement by selecting the Create Announcement button.

- Publish the Announcement by selecting the Create Announcement button.
With this process complete, the announcement will now appear in the app, as in the example below.
