Purpose

The Verifone UX410 indicator lights can be used to detect issues with the device or connected network. Following is a list of the indicator lights and what they may mean.

 

Indicator Lights

LED 1 LED 2 LED 3 LED 4 Description
Blinking On On On No network
Off Blinking On On No connection with the payments platform
Off Off Blinking On Not boarded
Off Off Off Blinking Slowly Ready

 

Sales Lights

LED 1 LED 2 LED 3 LED 4 Description
On Off Off Off The terminal has received a payment request and is ready for the shopper to tap their card or phone to the NFC reader. The CTLS logo also lights up.
On On On On The shopper has tapped their card or phone and the NFC reader has read the card details. The buzzer also sounds.

 

Errors

LED 1 LED 2 LED 3 LED 4 Description
Off Off On On The terminal has failed to load its keys and needs to be replaced.
Red - - - The LED 1 light in red indicates a warning. The terminal may have been tampered with. Stop using the terminal and contact the processor immediately.
