Evermart Config App - Customer Confidence Settings

Purpose

The Customer Confidence Settings in the Evermart config app can allow operators to choose what policies are in place if customers misuses the checkout process of a PicoCooler Breeze. These settings can provide "penalties," such as negative audio cues and increase in prices for the customer. These settings can be changed at any time, and offer varying levels of severity depending on the needs of the location. 

Operators must have Evermart app version 1.0.74 or newer to utilize this new feature.

 

Description of Confidence Levels

The customer confidence levels can be set to Strict, Standard, or Smooth levels.

The Strict setting can be used in locations that are less secure, high-transient spaces, such as hotels, universities, train stations, and more. The Smooth setting should be used in locations that are secure, higher trusted areas, such as apartment complexes, industry locations, and break rooms. The Standard setting is a mix of the two.

Setting the Policy Level

  1. Download the Evermart config app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store

  2. Open the app. You will see the home screen, which gives you information on your nearest PicoCooler Breeze device.

  3. From the home page, click on the Change button.

  4. The Cabinet configuration page will now appear. From here, select the Download button. This will take you to the cabinet configuration settings page.

  5. From the Cabinet Configuration settings page, you may change the Customer Confidence Policy Settings to your desired amount (Strict, Standard, or Smooth) which are described in the Description of Policy Levels section above. You may also adjust the volume of the audio cues by using the slider setting on this page.

  6. Once you have made your adjustments, select the Upload button.

Once the customer settings have been changed, the updates will apply to the device automatically, without the need to restart the device.

 

Enabling a Security Lockdown

  1. Open the Evermart Config and select the Change button from the home page.

  2. The Cabinet configuration page will now appear. From here, select the Download button.

  3. The cabinet configuration settings page will now display. Here you will find the Enable security lockdown setting, which is off by default. Select the on option to enable this setting.

  4. Select the Upload button at the bottom of the page to confirm the lockdown
