Purpose

This article outlines the steps to update your software for Greenlite devices in AVLive. If your Greenlite device needs a software update, the software version will be displayed in red in AVLive. If your device is up to date, the version will be displayed in green. 

Process

Sending Updates in AVLive

1. Select the checkmark to the left of the machine name.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Actions > Updates > Update Software.
   
   
   - Note: This process can take up to 5 minutes to complete. You may refresh your web browser during this time, and once the version is updated, its version number will turn green. You may also see red wrenches in the MDB field to the right of the signal, which is normal. You can send a ping to the device and refresh your web browser to clear them.
   
   
   
   
3. To send a ping to the device, select the checkmark to the left of the machine name again. 
   
   
   
   
4. Click Actions > Commands > Send Ping.
