Parlevel - Micro Market Promotions Module

The purpose of this article is to outline the components and tools that make up the Parlevel Systems Promotions Module. The Promotions Module is composed of a promotions engine, a promotions builder, a test card/reporting module in the VMS, an implementation for the Parlevel Micro Markets, and an implementation for the Koin mobile app.

Promotions in VMS

A new section called “Promotions” is added to the VMS in the Markets menu. Markets > Promotions.

The promotions Module will have three sections: Promotions, Redemptions and Transactions:

VMS > Promotions Section

All your promotions will be listed here. You’ll be able to see the promotion name, accounts where the promotion is present, if the promotion is enabled, the start date, and end date, if applicable.

Price Restrictions

You can specify a price restriction for your promotion to be valid. This can be accomplished by setting a minimum and maximum price for the product in production. This means that the promotion will only be valid if the product price or tag in the promo is within the minimum and maximum specified price.

  • The screenshot below is an example where the 10% discount will only be applied if the price of the Coke Can 12oz is between $1.00 and $3.00. If the price is below $1.00 or greater than $3.00, the promotion will be ignored.
