Zebra Printer - Installation and Configuration

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to outline install and configuration steps for a Zebra printer. More information can be found on Zebra's support site and the Install Zebra Printer Using Driver v5 article.

 

Process

  1. Go to the Zebra Printer Support and Downloads page. Download the Printers latest driver if needed.

  2. Click on the model of Zebra printer used.

  3. Once selected, go to the Drivers tab, select the driver needed, and begin the download. This download may take 1-5 minutes depending on available network speed.

  4. Once the download is complete, run the install wizard file (the .exe just downloaded).

  5. Click next until the program asks you to read and agree to the License agreement. Check the box, then hit next.

  6. Uncheck 'View Release Notes' then click Finish

  7. Next, select 'Install Printer', then select the required driver and click Next.
  8. Select the required port channel connecting the Printer to the PC. If your printer is connected with a USB 2.0 Cable, select USB

  9. Click Next. Then click Finish to complete installation.
