Purpose

The purpose of this document is to show how to calibrate or recalibrate Honeywell Barcode Scanners on ReadyTouch devices. This can resolve an issue where the scanner beeps after a scan, but does not add the item to the customer’s order

Process

  1. Locate Kiosk and Scanner in question.

  2. Use the following Calibration Barcode - You can scan using this picture on a Smartphone screen, print out this document, or use the same barcode from the attached PDF.

  3. It should beep once when scanning the barcode.

  4. After scanning the programming barcode, attempt a test scan and confirm the issue was fixed.
