Purpose
The purpose of this article is to outline steps to update software for devices in AVLive. If your device needs a software update, the software version will be displayed in red in AV Live. If your device is up to date this version will display in green.
Process
Sending Updates in AVLive
- Select the checkmark to the left of the machine name.
- Click on Actions in the top right of the screen.
- Hover over Updates.
- Select Update Software.
- Please note: this process can take up to 5 minutes for it to complete. You can refresh your web browser and the version will turn green. You may also see the red wrenches in the MDB field to the right of the signal, this is normal. You can send a ping to the device and refresh your web browser to clear the red wrenches.

- To send a ping to a device: Select the checkmark to the left of the machine name.
- Click on Actions in the top right of the screen.
- Hover over Commands.
- Select Send Ping
Sending Updates from PicoVend Device
- From the main screen on the PicoVend, click 'Help'.
- Click the settings icon.
- Enter your operator credentials and click LOGIN.
- Click Update APP.
