Purpose

This article goes over how to reset your password from VMS or have VMS send a password reset email.

Process

VMS Access

If you know your current VMS password and are able to log in successfully follow these instructions to reset your password:

1. While logged into VMS, click your username in the top right corner of the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
   
   
2. From the drop down menu, click User Profile to go to the Edit User page.
   
   
3. On the Edit User page, click Set Password.
   
   
4. Enter your current password and your new password in the appropriate fields. Click Save Changes. 

VMS Not Accessible

If you are not able to access VMS because you forgot your password, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the VMS login screen.
   
   
2. Click on Login Problems? in the area where you enter your password.
   
   
3. On the next page, there will be a field for you to enter your username. Please enter your username and hit “Request Password Reset”. This will send a password reset email to the email address that is associated with your VMS profile.
