Purpose

This article serves as a guide for the Route Sales report.

Report Description

The Route Sales report provides an overview of sales organized by route. Each row is a route name.

How to Access the Report

  1. From your Org's VMS, navigate to Analytics > Routes > Route Sales.

  2. Set a date range, then click the green play button to run the report.

Report Columns

  • Name: Route Name. Clicking the name loads that specific route's Account Sales for the set date range.

  • Cash Sales: The total cash sales reported within the set date range.

  • Cashless Sales: The total cashless sales reported within the set date range.

  • Sold: The total value of products sold within the set date range.

  • Sold Cost: The total cost of all products sold within the date range. (Requires product Cost set in the Product Catalog at the time of sale; cannot be recalculated for past sales if set after the sales occurred).

  • Cash Collected: The total cash collected within the set date range.

  • Total Collected: The total cash and cashless sales collected within the set date range.

  • Total Revenue: The total cash collected plus cashless sales reported within the set date range.

  • Services: {check} The number of services {scheduled or completed} within the set date range.

  • Service Avg.: The average amount of collected cash and cashless collected from service.

  • Fills: The number of items stocked within the set date range.

  • Fill Cost: The cost to fill the route assets within the set date range.

  • Margin %: The percentage of sales revenue retained after costs within the set date range.

  • POS/Machine Count Avg.: The average number of assets serviced per route within the set date range.

Charts Below the Table

  • Total Sales: A bar graph comparing 'Cash Sales' and 'Cashless Sales' based on the route within the set date range.

  • Machines Per Route: A donut chart showing the number of machines on each route (and what percentage that number is of the total number of machines in the VMS).

  • Service Average: A donut chart comparing the 'Cash Collected' and 'Cashless Collected' highest Service Average within the set date range.
