Regardless of whether through a wired or wireless connection, kiosks have some requirements as to speed and port access.
We recommend a network speed of at least 8Mbps. Any slower than this, and the kiosk's performance will be downgraded considerably (may cause what customers call a "frozen" kiosk).
Kiosks must be able to establish outbound connections through these hosts/ports:
- TeamViewer (Ports 80 & 443)
You may need to contact the kiosk location's IT team in order to request that these ports be opened on the network to which the kiosk is connected. Please ask that the following ports are accessible on the network:
