Parlevel - Waste Report

You can view the product shrinkage report under Analytics > Warehouse > Waste Report. Specify a date range, and click VMS Run Report icon to run the report. You can print or export the route by clicking the Parlevel - VMS Triple Gear Settings Icon Options dropdown.


Please note that this report uses information from consolidating truck inventory. For more information on this process, please see the Guide to Shrinkage and Waste Reporting.



You will find the shrinkage report listed by Route first.



From left to right, the columns displayed are:

  • Route: This is the name of the route. It is a clickable link that will open to a report of all machines on the route that had product pulled, covered next.
  • Loss: This is the total sale price of the products marked as waste multiplied by the respective number of units.
  • Cost: This is the unit cost of the products marked as waste multiplied by the respective number of units.
  • Total Units: This is the total number of units of product pulled.
  • Returned: This is the number of units that were returned to the warehouse inventory.
  • Unreturned: This is the number of units that were not returned to the warehouse inventory.
  • Expired: This is the number of units that were verified as expired in the truck consolidation.
  • Damaged: This is the number of units that were verified as damaged in the truck consolidation.
  • Lost: This is the number of units that were verified as lost in the truck consolidation.
  • Refund: This is the number of units that were verified as refunded in the truck consolidation.
  • Verified Waste: This is the total number of units verified as waste.
  • Verified Re-entry: This is the number of units that were marked as waste but verified to go back to the warehouse.
  • Unverified: This is the number of units that were marked as waste but did not get verified in the VMS.
  • Services: This is the number of services in which product was marked as waste.
  • Avg Loss/Service: This is the average number of units pulled across all services.
  • SKUs: This is the number of unique products that were marked as waste across all services.
  • Avg Loss/SKU: This is the average number of losses per unique SKU.

The two final rows are the Averages and Totals for each column across all routes.


If you click the route name, you will open a list of all machines with pulled product for that route.




The columns displayed here are the same as in the routes section of the report, with the exception of:

Asset: This is the unique asset ID assigned to the machine. It is a clickable link that will open to all products that were pulled from the machine, covered next. 

Machine: This is the name of the machine. It is a clickable link that will open the machine information modal.


If you click the Asset number, you will open a list of all products pulled from the machine.



The column definitions here are the same as in the routes section of the report, with the addition of:

Product Name: This is the name of the product that was pulled. It is a clickable link that will open the product information modal.
