Overview

The email campaign feature allows you to communicate with your customers informing them of promotional offers and discounts to help drive them back to the market to increase sales.

Email campaigns utilize user lists and email templates, which can be mixed and matched via the Manage Campaign settings.

User List s allow you to choose the market locations you want to message consumers and target the criteria of your choice.

Personalize the Email Template via Tags

Emails can be personalized by inserting tags. When the email is sent, these tags will be read by AMS, and they will be changed to include the appropriate information for each recipient. For example, if you include the First Name Tag in your email, AMS will change the email to include the recipient's first name in the spot where you put the First Name Tag.

  1. Select a spot in the email text field. You may have other text typed in already, or it may be empty.
  2. Click the Insert Tags dropdown option on the toolbar
  3. Select the tag or tags you would like to use from the list
  4. The tag will then appear where your cursor was in the email text field
  5. You may continue writing your email as normal.

The user list included a user who listed their name as scott P. When we sent the email, this was what the user received:
