Purpose
This article explains how to create unique tote receipts (at Operator request) using the Custom Ticket Builder on LSAdmin.
Process
- In LSAdmin, click Add New in the top left corner of the Style Window, then name the style. Name the style to match the zone or location it will be used for, unless otherwise instructed by the Operator.
- Add a Title Line to the new custom receipt. This will be the first text printed on the custom receipt. You may edit this field's font size, text alignment, etc. as desired. Click Update in the left most field to save changes.
- Add Additional Lines. Please note the following rules:
- If both 'Title Text' AND 'Body Type' are NOT set then all data in all other columns of the line will be ignored and will be considered as BLANK line for printing.
- If 'Body Type' is set to Logo - title section will be ignored but alignment is still considered
- If 'Body Type' is set to Barcode(bars):
- Body Field will be attempted to be treated as a barcode
- Barcode bars will be always printed center aligned
- Other Additional Line styles include dropdown tables for generated values (variables) in the database. E.G. Body Field > Order ID.
- Once all needed lines are added, add the Custom Tote to a Zone. On LSAdmin, navigate to LightSpeed Settings > Print Preferences.
- if Print Preferences is unavailable add MobilePrintPreferences.aspx to the end of the base lsadmin url.
- if Print Preferences is unavailable add MobilePrintPreferences.aspx to the end of the base lsadmin url.
- In Print Preferences, click Edit on the right side on the screen tied to the zone you wish to apply the custom ticket to. Set the Tote Ticket Style to the custom ticket you created.
- Test new custom ticket by having the Operator fully close and relaunch the Lightspeed App, then print a test receipt from that zone/printer.
