Purpose

This article walks through how to change taxes in a confirmed order.
 

Process

To remove or adjust taxes in a confirmed order: go to the order that needs to be adjusted and click the Items tab.
 

Change Taxes in a Menu

To change taxes in a menu:

1. Find a menu; click the pencil icon near the menu item:
   
   1. For a Fixed Price Menu, the Tax dropdown will be at the top of the pop up; change the tax rate here.
   2. For an A La Carte Menu, the Tax dropdown will show up next to each individual menu item.
      
2. Once adjusted, click Add and next to add another menu item, or Add and go to order if no new menu items are needed.
   

Change Taxes in a Service Charge

To change taxes in a charge:

1. Under Order Charges, click the pencil icon near a charge to edit it.
    
2. Find the box labeled Tax; change the Tax as needed here.
    
3. Click Update Charge.
   
   

Change Taxes in a Delivery Charge

To adjust the Delivery Tax Rate, find the Delivery Tax dropdown under Taxes here:

Find the Total Tax Rate

All Tax Rates totaled will show up in the price breakdown under Total:

When finished, click Save in the upper-right, then confirm changes.
