Overview
Age Verification is a PIN system that allows an authorized user, such as a hotel clerk, to provide a PIN which a consumer can use on a 365 device to purchase age-restricted items like alcohol. This will be available for PicoCooler, PicoCooler Breeze, and Stockwell (with Pico).
This guide is intended for staff such as hotel clerks.
Enter Consumer Into Age Verification System
- Manually/visually verify the consumer's age.
- Log into ADM.
NOTEIf you cannot remember your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page. If you have issues with resetting your password or do not have credentials for this site, reach out to your leadership. - Click the Admin tab in the blue banner at the top of ADM, then select Age Verification.
- Fill in the following REQUIRED fields under the Age Verification Setup section:
- Location: Choose the location the device is located. Only locations with the functionality enabled and that you have permissions to in ADM will be available for selection. If you do not see a location that you need access to, reach out to your leadership.
- Language: This controls the language the Age Verification Code email is sent in. You can choose to inherit the device's default language or choose the device's alternate language. The device's default and alternate language can be set by 365.
- Email Address: This is the email address the Age Verification Code will be sent to.
- First Name: The consumer's first name.
- Last Name: The consumer's last name.
- Checkout: In a hotel environment, this is the date the consumer is checking out. This is also the expiration date of the Age Verification Code.
- Daily Uses: The number set in this field is the amount of times the consumer can use the code before it expires. This is defaulted to unset, which means there is no limit to how many times the consumer can use the Age Verification Code.
- Click Create and Send PIN. The information entered will show under the Active PINs section.
- The consumer will receive an email containing an Age Verification Code (from noreply@readytouchpos.com) which will grant them access to age-restricted items.
- Non-Hotel Locations: The header of the email will be generic, stating "Age Verification Code." The body of the email will include the location name, the Age Verification QR code, and the 6-digit Age Verification PIN.
- Hotel Locations: The header of the email will include either the Hotel365 logo or the custom logo uploaded by Hotel Admin. The body of the email will include the market/location name, the Age Verification QR code, and the 6-digit Age Verification PIN.
