ADM Search Button Option (Show/Hide) - Operator
Updated

Table of Contents

Overview

Operators have the option to set the Search button to show or hide at a location or device level for V5 MicroMarkets, ReadyTouch/365Dining devices (in self-service mode), or NanoMarkets. If the Search button is enabled, a Search button would show on the point of sale. This would allow the end-user to manually type in the name or UPC of a product and select it for checkout.

The Search button would appear like the following depending on the device:

Show/Hide Search Button for Specific Device at Location

If there are multiple devices at a location but the operator only wants some of the devices to have the search field enabled, while the others have it disabled, this can be set individually in the Device Summary screen.

  2. The Location Summary page will load. From this page, select the specific device from the Devices tab.

  3. The Device Summary page will load. Locate the Show Search Btn field. This field can be set to Yes or No independently of the location setting OR it can be set to Inherit from Location so that it takes on the location setting. This will apply to only this device at the location.
