Installing the Mounting Plate

Position the Plate

  1. Place the mounting plate on the top left corner at the back of the cooler when facing it.

Secure the Plate

  1. Using a drill with a Phillips head bit and the included self-drilling screws, secure the plate in place.

  2. Ensure the plate is firmly fixed and level.

Determining the Passthrough Hole Location

Identify Cable Passthrough

Determine which hole to use for USB and camera cables.

  • For coolers that have the evaporator unit at the top use the the lower hole on the mounting plate.

  • For coolers that have the evaporator unit on the back of the cooler use the upper hole on the mounting plate.

  • For Imbera coolers with a cooler box, use the lower hole on the mounting plate.

Drill the Passthrough Hole

  1. Drill through the selected hole location, using the step drill bit and extension. Ensure to drill through both walls of the cooler.

  2. Remove debris from the bottom of the cooler after drilling.

Installing Cameras Inside the Cooler

Positioning the Cameras

  1. Install one camera in each corner inside the cooler with cables facing the back.

  2. Position each camera as close to the door opening as possible without obstructing the door from closing.

  3. Ensure the bottom cameras have at least 3 inches of clearance from bottom shelving.

Securing the Cameras

  1. Use 4 screws per camera to secure them flush in the corners.

  2. Confirm each camera is firmly in place and properly aligned.

Routing Camera USB Cables

Feed Cables Through Passthrough Hole

  1. Feed all camera USB cables through the drilled hole, from the inside of the cooler to the outside.

  2. Straighten cables to avoid knots.

Route, Secure, and Adjust Cables Along Cooler Edges

  1. Route the USB cable along the corners and edges of the cooler. Each camera will need to be done individually.

  2. Use the corners as a guide to keep the cables aligned along the vertical and horizontal edges.

  3. Secure each cable in place using cable clips as it is routed. Fasten the clips along the edges, ensuring the cables remain tidy and fixed in position.

  4. Gradually adjust the slack by pulling the cables taut along the edges.

  5. Ensure the cables are snug and aligned with the cooler’s corners for a clean appearance.

  6. Remove any leftover slack by gently pulling the cables through the back of the cooler.

Seal the Passthrough Hole

  1. Roll HVAC putty into a cylinder shape.

  2. Insert and pack the putty into the passthrough hole, ensuring a tight seal.

Connecting Camera USBs to PC

Connect USB Cables

  1. Plug all camera USB cables into the PC USB ports inside the housing.

  2. Ensure each connection is secure and fully inserted.

Bundle and Organize Cables

  1. Gather all cables together to remove slack and organize them neatly.

  2. Zip tie the cables into a bundle.

  3. Feed a zip tie through the loop hole on the mounting plate and secure the bundle in place.

Installing the Locking Mechanism

Installing the Striker

Measure and Mark Location

  1. Measure 52 inches from the bottom of the cooler to the desired striker location.

Attach the Striker Bracket

  1. Secure the striker bracket on the door using the provided self-drilling screws.

  2. Confirm the bracket is level and firmly attached.

Install Bracket Cover

  1. Place the bracket cover over the bracket and insert the included long screw.

  2. Attach the striker to the cover and hand-tighten the screws.

  2. Add a 5th self-drilling screw in the middle for additional stability (this spot does not have a pre-drilled hole).

Connect Power and USB

  1. Plug in the USB and power cables into the lock housing.

  2. Confirm the cables are securely seated and connected.

Attach the Cover

  1. Use the supplied push pins to attach the cover to the lock housing.

Installing the Cable Cover

Measure and Cut Cable Cover

  1. Measure the length required for the cable cover along the side of the cooler.

  2. Cut the cable cover to the appropriate length.

Route and Secure Cables

  1. Open the channel clip of the cable cover.

  2. Route the cables inside the channel.
