What 365 products are supported by the Impulsify integration?
Currently, this integration is available for Stockwell and PicoCooler Vision.

Can my existing fleet of Stockwell and PicoCooler Vision machines be retrofit for the Impulsify integration?
Yes. Please contact your key account manager to discuss options here.

Can I run home commercials on Impulsify integrated devices?
No. Home commercials will NOT operate on Stockwell or PCV.

Can I accept both Room Charge and Credit/Debit on the same unit?
No. This capability is being considered as a future roadmap item.

Is there a fee associated with supporting Room Charge?
Yes.

Will I manage the Stockwell/PCV in ADM and/or Impulsify?
Both systems will be used to manage the device once deployed. Certain functions like Schema management will take place in Stockwell/ADM, but promotions and reporting will be managed in ImpulsePoint for example.

Will the Stockwell/PCV need to be deployed in both ADM and ImpulsePoint?
Yes, the device will need to be setup and maintained in both systems.
Consumer Journey

How is the consumer notified that room charge is accepted?
A unique UI will display with the option for Room Charge. When a user selects Room Charge, they can enter their first name and last name.

How will I know the device is integrated with Impulsify?
There will be a unique Impulsify theme displayed on the Pico UI.

Will the transaction flows for Room Charge work offline?
No. Both the device and Hotel PMS integration need to be online to successfully allow access.

What happens if users enter invalid details for Room Charge?
The users credentials will be checked against the Hotel’s PMS and if invalid or not approved, the user will see an error message display noting Invalid credentials.

Will the user receive a receipt from 365 or Impulsify?
The user will receive a final receipt from Impulsify for the completed transaction.

How will the users receipt details be captured? When the user completes their purchase, the Email Receipt option will display on the Pico where an email address can be entered. This email address is then passed onto Impulsify to send the final receipt when charged.

Will the final price match the price displayed on the Pico?
The price displayed on the Pico under the search function, will display the price loaded in ADM. If there are any taxes or promotions applied, the price will differ on the final receipt from Impulsify. ADM Reporting will update accordingly.
Payments and Reporting

When credit/debit is enabled at Multi-Family locations, which MID will be used?
For Stockwell/PCV devices supporting credit/debit payments, the Operator will need to onboard with 365 as the merchant of record.

Will a pre-auth reservation still be charged before allowing access?
Yes. The standard pre-auth flow will be used for all credit/debit transactions.

Where is the final transaction charged?

Stockwell will send the initial transaction data captured to ImpulsePoint via the API.

Impulsify will then consolidate and finalize the transaction, taking into account any Promotions/Discounts and Tax.

Impulsify will charge the customer and report back to ADM the final charge, which will be stored in ADM reporting.

In ADM, how do I know if a transaction is a room charge?
In the standard item-level reports in ADM, there will be a payment type, ROOM, used to denote room charge transactions completed.
