ADM Setup

Vending Coffee with ADM

Coffee vending is not the typical use case of ADM. To allow for managing this new type of item, ADM will auto-generate an item list for the PicoCoffee.

When the barcode of any item is scanned by a PicoCoffee, ADM generates a new item for that barcode. The name of this new item is set to "coffee". The internal scan code is automatically set to "PicoCoffee", with price of 0.00. The scan codes and price are preset and cannot be changed, but the product summary can be edited through ADM.

  1. Log into ADM

  2. Ensure that you have the correct org/location selected

  3. Select Product from the main menu, then select Global Products from the resulting drop-down menu.

  4. Select the item listed as "coffee". This will bring you to the Product Summary of the coffee, which can be edited as needed.

  5. When you have completed your changes, select the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Vending Coffee with the PicoCoffee+

In ADM, vending coffee with the PicoCoffee+ uses the same functionality. However, in all other cases of selling products, this device functions like a standard MicroMarket. This means that scanning items other than coffee will ring the item's scan code and price as dictated by the ADM Inventory.
